Saega documentation
How Saega works
- Connect a wallet and sign in with one message (Sign-In with Ethereum). No transaction is sent.
- Deposit a supported asset into a verified yield integration. On Robinhood Chain this is a Morpho Blue lending market: you supply USDG and receive a non-transferable supply position held by your own address.
- Track the position and its actual performance. The value comes from chain state; the principal basis from indexed deposits and withdrawals.
- Convert an eligible, realized amount of yield into prepaid AI credits by signing one withdrawal from your position to the Saega treasury.
- Spend credits on real, server-side model API calls. Each request reserves its maximum cost first and settles the exact charge.
- Read accurate usage, costs, credit history and on-chain receipts in Usage and Activity.
- Withdraw available assets to your wallet whenever the market has idle liquidity.
“No subscription” means usage-based billing from credits — there is no recurring Saega fee. AI access is through Saega’s own interface and does not include paid subscriptions to third-party AI applications.
Custody boundary
- Where deposited assets are held: in the Morpho Blue singleton on Robinhood Chain, as a supply position owned by your wallet address (
onBehalf = you). Supply positions are not tokens and cannot be transferred. - Who can withdraw them: only your wallet (or an address you authorise in Morpho itself). Saega holds no key and has no allowance over your position.
- What becomes prepaid service credit: exactly the amount of a withdrawal whose receiver is the Saega treasury (0x3525d20e9732D98763911778559fd58d7d4688c4), after 300 block confirmations. Credits are denominated in USDG at par: 1 token unit = 1 credit unit = $0.000001.
- How the treasury pays AI costs: Saega settles model-provider invoices off-chain from the treasury. No smart contract pays a provider API; the credit ledger is the bridge between the on-chain receipt and the off-chain usage.
- Refunds: unused prepaid credits are not refundable on-chain. Convert what you expect to use; the per-request and daily caps help keep conversions small. Operators can issue ledger adjustments; every adjustment is recorded in the append-only ledger with a memo.

Expansion routes (not available)
- Tokenized stocks (Robinhood Stock Tokens): On Morpho Blue a Stock Token can only be posted as collateral; collateral earns no lending interest and borrowing against it is not a yield strategy. Saega enables tokenized stocks only if a verified market supplies them as the loan asset.
- Morpho vaults (ERC-4626): Vault shares are transferable, so principal history cannot be verified for imported or transferred shares. Direct Morpho Blue positions are non-transferable, which keeps yield accounting enforceable.
Models
The registry lists these models; a model is offered only when its provider has credentials on the deployment and confirmed the model id. Live availability is in the status section below.
- Claude Opus 5.5 (claude-opus-5-5, anthropic) — Default model. Strongest reasoning in the catalog.
- Claude Sonnet 5.5 (claude-sonnet-5-5, anthropic) — Fast everyday model.
- Claude Haiku 5.5 (claude-haiku-5-5, anthropic) — Lowest cost; prompts capped at 100K tokens so the published small-prompt price always applies.
- Test model (development fixture) (saega-test-model, test) — No provider is called. Replies are deterministic text with synthetic token counts. Refused in production unless ALLOW_TEST_PROVIDER_IN_PRODUCTION=1.
Yield versus credits
Saega keeps one accounting state per wallet and market, rebuilt deterministically from the market’s Supply and Withdraw events (raw token units, no floats):
- Principal basis rises by every supply (yours or anyone’s on your behalf).
- Position value is what your supply shares redeem for at the market’s accrued state — read from chain, never from a price feed.
- Estimated accrued yield = value − basis. It is shown, but it is not credits.
- Withdrawals to your wallet take yield first. The part covered by accrued yield is yield leaving the position; the remainder reduces principal. This is the most conservative reading for credit eligibility.
- Conversions are withdrawals whose receiver is the treasury. The yield part becomes yield-funded credits; any part above eligible yield is credited but labelled principal-funded. Converting reduces the position value, so the same yield can never be converted twice.
- Losses (bad debt socialised to lenders) are never written off automatically: nothing is labelled yield until the position is back above its basis. A full exit closes the books and records the remaining basis as a realized loss.
- Eligibility requires a complete, confirmed event history (the market stream or your own wallet stream backfilled to a confirmed head) and indexed shares equal to the shares on chain. Until then, nothing is labelled yield. Price appreciation of the stablecoin or of any collateral never counts as yield.
- Settled credits are what the ledger holds after a verified settlement; reserved credits are holds for requests in flight. Top-ups are labelled separately and never count as yield.
Minimum conversion: 0.50 USDG. Conversion intents expire after 45 minutes without a transaction.
Fees & pricing
Saega charges no fee on deposits, withdrawals or conversions; gas is paid by your wallet in ETH. Model requests are charged at the provider’s list price (catalog version 2026-10-18.1, source) plus a Saega markup of 10.0% on the provider cost. Both parts are shown on every usage record and in the CSV export.
| Model | Input / 1M | Cache write | Cache read | Output / 1M | Max prompt |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Claude Opus 5.5 | $4.00 | $5.00 | $0.20 | $20.00 | 180,000 tokens |
| Claude Sonnet 5.5 | $2.00 | $2.50 | $0.20 | $10.00 | 180,000 tokens |
| Claude Haiku 5.5 | $0.10 | $0.13 | $0.01 | $0.50 | 100,000 tokens |
| Test model (development fixture) | $0.10 | $0.13 | $0.01 | $0.50 | 100,000 tokens |
Request billing policy
- Before a request starts, Saega counts the prompt with the provider, computes the maximum cost (every input token at the cache-write rate, the full output allowance, plus markup), checks your caps, and reserves that amount atomically. Insufficient credits stop the request before the provider is called.
- After the reply, the provider’s reported usage is charged and the unused hold is released. Reservations expire after 15 minutes and are reconciled by a background job.
- A stopped or disconnected request is charged for what the provider reported; if the provider reported nothing, Saega charges the counted input plus an estimate of the delivered output and marks the record “estimated”. A request that failed before producing anything releases its hold.
- A retry is a new request and is billed again. Saega does not refund usage the provider already billed.
- Default caps: $0.5 per request and $5 per rolling day; change them in Settings.
Withdrawal constraints
A Morpho Blue market can only pay out its idle liquidity (total supplied minus total borrowed). When utilization is high, withdrawals and conversions larger than the idle amount revert; you wait for repayments or new deposits. The app shows the exact idle liquidity before you sign and never describes a pending withdrawal as completed. There is no lock-up and no Saega fee on withdrawals.
Risks
- Smart-contract risk. Morpho Blue is audited and immutable, but no contract is risk-free. Saega deploys no custom contract on mainnet; its accounting runs off-chain against verified contracts.
- Market risk. Bad debt from failed liquidations is socialised across lenders. Oracle designs differ per market (see each market’s note in Assets): the USDe market values collateral at a constant 1.0 until a timelocked backup oracle switches in.
- Stablecoin risk. USDG is an issued stablecoin. Credits are denominated in it at par; they are not US dollars.
- Provider risk. Model availability, pricing and behaviour are set by the provider. Price changes are versioned in the catalog; your records keep the version they were charged with.
- Operational risk. Saega’s treasury, indexer and worker are operated services. Credits depend on them; the status section shows their health, and the reconciliation job checks the ledger against settlements and usage.
Nothing here is guaranteed: not yield, not principal, not model availability. Saega has not been audited and has no partnerships with the protocols or providers it integrates.
Privacy & retention
- Your prompts and the conversation history needed for a reply are sent to the provider of the selected model (Anthropic for Claude models). Chat through an external provider is not fully private; do not paste secrets.
- Conversations are stored in Saega’s database for your retention window (90 days by default, 1–365 in Settings) and can be deleted at any time. Usage and billing records are kept for accounting.
- Model output is treated as untrusted: it is rendered as text and elements, never as HTML; links are not clickable; the model cannot initiate wallet transactions or change settings.
- Sign-in uses a single-use, expiring message bound to this site; sessions are httpOnly cookies you can revoke in Settings.
